Customer terms

These terms apply when you subscribe to Ask Sofia for a project. By ticking the box at checkout or when you create a project, you agree to them on behalf of your company. The website terms and the privacy policy also apply.

The subscription

Ask Sofia costs $490 per project per month. You are billed from the day you subscribe, and every month after that, until you cancel. There is no free trial and no setup fee. You can cancel at any time: Sofia keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for, and is not renewed after that. Months already paid for are not refunded. If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Credits

Everything Sofia does is paid for in credits. Each project's subscription includes 1,200 credits every billing month. They renew at the start of each billing month, and credits you did not use do not carry over. Credits are used at these rates:

• A phone call, browser call or WhatsApp call: 1.5 credits per minute, counting each started minute.
• A website chat: 1 credit per conversation.
• A text (SMS) or WhatsApp message conversation: 5 credits per conversation.
• A contact reached by a campaign: 1.25 credits, once per campaign; a campaign call also uses its minutes.

A conversation is up to 20 messages or 24 hours, whichever comes first; after that, the next message starts a new conversation. Conversations you hold with Sofia yourself to test her are free. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

Top-ups

You can buy more credits at any time: 1,000 credits for $250, 2,000 for $500, or 4,400 for $1,000. Top-up credits expire 90 days after you buy them, and any not used by then are lost. Top-up credits are shared by all the projects on your account. Sofia uses a project's monthly credits first, then top-up credits, oldest first. Top-up purchases are final; if a top-up payment is refunded, the credits from it that are still unused are removed.

You can choose to top up automatically: when your credits run low, the pack you chose is charged to the card on your subscription, never more than the monthly limit you set. You can turn this off at any time.

When credits run out

We email you when a project has used 50%, 80%, 90% and 100% of its monthly credits, each time with a link to top up. If a project has no credits left, Sofia stops: she does not answer, call or send anything for that project. New calls, texts and WhatsApp messages go to your sales team instead, which uses no credits. You are never charged for usage beyond your credits. Sofia starts again as soon as credits are added, or when the next billing month begins.

Your responsibilities

Sofia answers from the information you give her: your inventory, prices, documents and answers. You are responsible for keeping it accurate. You are responsible for having the consent the law requires before Sofia calls, texts, emails or messages anyone on a list you upload, and for honoring requests to stop. Do not use Ask Sofia to contact people who did not ask to hear from you.

Phone numbers

The phone number we give a project is part of the service. If the subscription ends, the number may be released and reassigned.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects what you pay or what your credits buy, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
